life is rough

Life to you is so rough
ask me, even I think it's tough
When your life is moving slow
you never know when it's your turn to go
You sit upstairs and make a bet
as you cry and smoke a cigarette
in your hand lies a gun
which is the first time you've ever touched one
you wonder what people would think if you would die
and you don't care to give it a try
you wish you were already dead
as you hold the gun up to your head
As you pull the trigger
your life flashes by like a river
the sound of the boom
echoed throughout the room
I ran upstairs and opened your door
to find you sprawled about the floor
as I tried to put you back together
in your hand i found this letter
I never meant to hurt you this way-
I could not live another day.
